Community Care Clinic Month

Community Care Clinic Month

Celebrating the Heart of Healthcare in Kansas

Each year in August, we come together to honor and celebrate the incredible work done by Community Care Member Clinics across the state of Kansas. Community Care Clinic Month is a time to highlight the essential contributions these clinics make in improving the health and well-being of all Kansans. During this month long celebration we raise awareness about the important missions of Community Care Member Clinics and the remarkable achievements they have accomplished. We celebrate the dedicated, passionate teams and show our support for the vital role they play to ensure high-quality healthcare for all Kansans.

What You Can Do: Celebrate, Share, and Engage

We encourage all our members to take full advantage of Community Care Clinic Month to celebrate their staff, providers, volunteers, and the invaluable work they do in their communities. This is the perfect time to promote your clinic’s mission, raise awareness about the importance of accessible healthcare, and recognize the meaningful impact your clinic has on the local population. Together, we can amplify our message and continue to advocate for a healthy Kansas.

Here are some ideas for activities and participation:

  • Invite Local Public Officials to Visit – Give public officials an inside look at your clinic and the services you provide by inviting them to visit during the month. It’s a great opportunity to build relationships and showcase the impact of your work.
  • Plan Special Events – Organize events such as health fairs, community outreach activities, or celebrations, and invite the public to participate. This is a chance to engage with your community and raise awareness about your clinic’s services.
  • Use the Community Care Clinic Month Logo – Add the official Community Care Clinic Month logo to your promotional materials to show your support and join in the state-wide celebration. [Download the logo here]
  • Request Proclamations – Reach out to local officials or governing bodies and ask them to issue proclamations recognizing your clinic for the month. This can help raise the visibility of your clinic’s contributions and the importance of community-based healthcare.

Tell Community Care about the events you're planning by contacting a member of our team. We will share them with members of Congress and include them in our promotional materials to spread the word and highlight your efforts.

Together, We Make a Difference

Community Care Clinic Month is an opportunity for all of us to celebrate the successes we’ve achieved and renew our commitment to the health of our communities.
